This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop weekly content tailored to your assigned area, encompassing statistical graphics, short-form videos, written posts, and narrative features.
• Implement real-time social media coverage during live events, prioritizing evenings, weekends, and periods of high competition activity.
• Assist in multi-team and championship-style events through pre-event promotions, live updates, and post-event summaries.
• Create and distribute platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube (including posts, clips, Stories, Reels, Shorts, etc.).
• Collaborate with FloCollege's editorial and video teams to ensure social media coverage aligns with overarching programming and content strategies.
• Enhance content for each platform to boost engagement, reach, and traffic.
• Contribute to organic monetization and syndication objectives through social media execution, event promotion, and audience expansion.
• Edit and publish short-form videos promptly and efficiently during live events.
• Monitor and interact with the FloCollege community in real time (comments, messages, mentions).
• Evaluate and analyze performance metrics to guide content decisions and enhance future coverage.
• Foster and maintain relationships with athletes, teams, and influencers in your region.
• Travel to select campuses and events for on-site coverage and content production.
• Demonstrated experience managing or contributing to social media accounts, ideally in sports or live-event settings.
• In-depth understanding of platform best practices, trends, and algorithms, particularly for live and short-form content.
• Proficient with content creation tools, including graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Suite, CapCut, Canva, etc.).
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and extended hours in accordance with the live sports calendar.
• Excellent writing abilities with a strong sense of voice, tone, and narrative style.
• Capacity to edit and publish video content swiftly under tight deadlines.
• Analytical approach with experience leveraging performance data to inform content strategy.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and adept at working independently in dynamic environments.
• Strong preference for knowledge of college athletics (softball, baseball, basketball, football, etc.).
• Remote work (U.S.-based candidates preferred; regional travel required).
• Contract Duration - 12 months.
