Social Media Content Views Editor – Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop content that creates meaningful connections with audiences, evaluated through high engagement metrics like views, likes, and comments.

• Act as a knowledgeable editor with a strong grasp of algorithms, specializing in hooks, pacing, structure, and audience retention across social media platforms.

• Take charge of DJ-ing, remixing, and optimizing content to enhance scalable performance.

• Fine-tune performance and platform success through ongoing optimization and creative experimentation.

• Edit and compile raw footage into polished final videos tailored for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Keep up to date with platform algorithms, new formats, creator trends, and editing methods.

• Engage in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.

• Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional departments on quick requests and tight deadlines.

• Attend creative brainstorming sessions, project kickoffs, and team meetings.

• Guide Creators, Art Directors, and Copywriters on best practices, ideation, execution, and performance enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional creative experience across various media platforms.

• Demonstrated experience as a video editor, ideally in advertising, digital media, or a similar field.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

• Comprehensive content creation abilities from inception to completion, including video and motion design.

• A responsible, accountable, self-motivated individual who shows initiative.

• Proficient in cross-functional collaboration.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.

• Must possess authorization to work in Germany.
