This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of enhancing Techstars’ visibility across platforms such as LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and Facebook.
• Develop and oversee the content calendar, campaigns, and promotional activities in collaboration with the VP of Marketing.
• Facilitate community engagement utilizing Hootsuite.
• Monitor and report on engagement metrics, growth, and content performance, leveraging data to inform content strategies.
• Create and manage posts for the CEO’s personal X and Instagram accounts.
• Script, film, and edit both short- and long-form videos for social media and YouTube.
• Oversee the management of the YouTube channel, including live streaming sessions.
• Transform interviews and podcast episodes into platform-specific short clips.
• Utilize tools like Claude, Descript, CapCut, Canva, or similar for content editing.
• Edit the GiveFirst podcast in both audio and video formats, transcribe episodes, and produce highlight clips.
• Craft titles and descriptions for podcast episodes.
• Source and coordinate guest appearances from the Techstars network.
• Compose LinkedIn posts, X copy, video scripts, and captions.
• Monitor and participate in pertinent conversations related to the company, competitors, and industry trends.
• Direct discussions to the relevant internal team member as necessary.
• Provide support for digital events through light production and moderation.
• Employ AI tools, particularly Claude, for scripting, editing workflows, research, transcription refinement, and content ideation.

• Location: Remote (United States Only)
• A public portfolio showcasing a diverse range of short-form social video, long-form content, and written material with genuine audience engagement.
• Proven success in building a social media presence from a minimal starting point, with clear evidence of follower or engagement growth.
• Complete ownership of a video project from start to finish: scripted, filmed, edited, and published, ideally with quantifiable views or engagement.
• Experience managing a podcast or long-form audio/video series from recording through to publishing and editing.
• Proficient hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar within an actual content workflow.
• Familiarity with Hootsuite or comparable scheduling/analytics platforms, alongside Adobe Creative Suite, Descript, Canva, or comparable editing software.
• Strong video production and social media copywriting capabilities are essential.
• A BA/BS in marketing, communications, film, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in venture capital, private equity, startups, or accelerators is advantageous.
• Comfort in front of the camera to host, interview, or present content is a plus but not required.
• A self-starter capable of managing an entire content pipeline independently.
• Excellent copywriting instincts with meticulous attention to grammar, spelling, and factual accuracy.
• A data-informed approach that combines metrics with intuition.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, resource-constrained, founder-mode environment.
