This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in implementing the overall social media content strategy for the Party at the Polls initiative, which includes creating graphic copy, captions, video content, partner toolkits, and more.
• Gather and evaluate content performance metrics associated with Party at the Polls to guide strategic decisions.
• Monitor and report on partners’ social media activities, engagement levels, and any incoming inquiries or requests for the team.
• Keep informed about the latest social media trends and propose content ideas that appeal to young, Black, and Brown voters.
• Undertake additional reasonable and related responsibilities as required.
• Offer digital and social media content assistance in collaboration with the When We All Vote Communications Team.
• Report directly to the Digital Director.
• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Over 1 year of experience in creating content for a club, organization, or brand's social media accounts, particularly IG Reels, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Proven experience in producing written and video content for social media platforms.
• Background in the nonprofit and/or political advocacy sector is preferred.
• Experience in building and sustaining an online community is an advantage.
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut, Sprout Social, and Adobe Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Excellent copywriting and editing abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
• Creative, organized, and analytical mindset.
• A keen interest in current social media and pop culture trends.
• Capacity to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Passion for engaging with diverse communities and individuals with different viewpoints.
• A strong commitment to civic engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Part-time temporary role requiring 20–30 hours of work per week.
• Option for remote work.
