Social Media Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the Epic Trips/Group Trips social media presence, starting with Instagram and expanding to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and additional platforms as the vertical develops.

• Spearhead the relaunch of Epic Trips as a dedicated initiative.

• Manage the ongoing content calendar for Epic Trips/Group Trips channels in alignment with the team's content pillars and posting frequency.

• Serve as the primary contact for internal teams and events seeking social media assistance, assessing requests and scheduling them within the calendar.

• Determine necessary creative assets and submit briefs to the creative team.

• Provide guidance and direction to creators assigned to the vertical using established templates, rate cards, and rotation schedules.

• Identify and address bottlenecks, performance challenges, and delivery issues.

• Report on the performance of Epic Trip/Group Trips each cycle, differentiating between funnel growth and organic or residual activity.

• Track mentions, comments, and discussions to identify trends, sentiment, and demand signals.

• Utilize Worldpackers' social/CRM tools, including Sprout Social, ManyChat, and LinkTree.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media, focusing on either launching a new brand/account or revitalizing an inactive one.

• Proficient in managing a launch-focused, campaign-oriented content calendar.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience in providing briefs to external creators or freelancers based on a content calendar.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Experience with group travel, events, or community-driven launch products is advantageous.

• Familiarity with tools such as Sprout Social, ManyChat, or similar platforms is beneficial.

• Exposure to internal or employer-brand social media use cases is a plus.

• Proficiency in additional languages relevant to Epic Trips' target markets is an advantage.
