Social and Digital Communications Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the daily publishing schedule across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, and other designated platforms, ensuring a consistent cadence and alignment with the brand voice.

• Implement a content calendar created in partnership with the Director of Content, balancing brand storytelling, educational materials, product promotions, and community engagement moments.

• Customize content formats—such as copy, graphics, short-form video, carousels, and stories—to fit the audience norms and algorithmic best practices of each platform.

• Oversee daily community interactions on all channels, responding swiftly and accurately in Empower’s brand voice.

• Foster relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers through thoughtful and empathetic engagement that strengthens Empower’s credibility and trust.

• Craft clear, engaging, and compliant social media copy that simplifies complex clinical or product information into accessible language suitable for the audience.

• Monitor and report on performance metrics at the channel level, including reach, engagement rate, follower growth, link clicks, and share of voice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, with a proven track record of audience growth and engagement across multiple platforms simultaneously.

• Knowledge of MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) or similar approval processes; capable of preparing high-quality submissions and managing revision cycles effectively.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent workstreams, meet deadlines, and manage stakeholder relationships.
