SOC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Implement, oversee, and maintain security tool platforms utilized by the organization and its clients.

• Address, mitigate, and/or resolve security-related events and incidents.

• Collaborate with customers via phone or in-person to clarify security events and assist with mitigation or remediation efforts.

• Facilitate the onboarding of clients onto security platforms while ensuring comprehensive organizational coverage.

• Conduct vulnerability remediation and evaluate business impact.

• Cultivate expertise in security platforms and act as a backup subject matter expert.

• Provide insights for position and process improvements.

• Execute regular health checks on security platforms.

• Adhere to internal and client-facing change management protocols.

• Engage in internal Incident Response tabletop exercises.

• Review reports and escalate findings for necessary corrections.

• Attend technical and professional training sessions and share key learning points.

• Create, maintain, and update technical and training documentation.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Information Security Officer.

• Maintain documentation pertaining to areas of expertise and daily responsibilities.

• Comply with documented Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Support.

• CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with networking topologies.

• Strong understanding of intermediate networking principles.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to perform well under pressure.

• Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.

• Willingness to work Night Shift (US Time).

• Flexibility to work a shifting schedule that accommodates daylight savings changes.
