Site Reliability Engineer, Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage Loadsmart's internal platform.

• Foster operational excellence and support the engineering team.

• Assess, recommend, and implement safer systems and processes.

• Collaborate with platform engineering teams and internal partners.

• Design, deploy, and maintain critical systems while balancing reliability, cost, and agility.

• Lead reliability initiatives with engineering teams.

• Gather metrics and comprehend their impact on the business.

• Diagnose and perform root-cause analysis on system operation issues.

• Manage the platform's Service Level Agreements and Objectives.

• Offer infrastructure support during off-hours as necessary.

• Take charge of software infrastructure projects.

• Engage in code and specification reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience leading Reliability Work across multiple engineering teams.

• More than 5 years of background in Cloud Computing, SRE/DevOps.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with internal stakeholders across various engineering teams.

• Strong project management abilities with a proven capacity to delegate and mentor team members.

• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system operations.

• Extensive knowledge of modern networking and operating systems.

• Expertise in AWS, cloud environments, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps engineering, including testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.

• Strong troubleshooting and systems engineering experience in UNIX/Linux production environments.

• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident management.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.

• Experience or familiarity with PostgreSQL and DBA tasks is a plus.

• Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
