Azure DevOps Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist ICT teams in the development, integration, and deployment of back-end systems as well as mobile and PC client applications.

• Aid ICT teams in managing and configuring system environments.

• Support project teams during system testing phases.

• Monitor the performance and overall health of systems.

• Report and coordinate technical issues related to system environments.

• Liaise with system vendors and contractors regarding technical issues on behalf of Frontex ICT.

• Assist ICT and project teams in deploying development environments on Azure.

• Oversee business architecture, guide solution designs, and promote collaboration among business architects and project teams to ensure alignment with the customer's long-term vision.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree (BSc or MSc).

• Over 8 years of extensive knowledge in software deployment management.

• Proficient understanding of software release management.

• Experience in CI/CD management for mission-critical complex enterprise systems.

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ASP.NET applications.

• Strong background in administering and troubleshooting ASP.NET applications hosted on IIS, focusing on configuration, application pools, websites, bindings, SSL certificates, and authentication mechanisms.

• Familiarity with Active Directory integration, Group Policies, service accounts, and Windows security concepts.

• Understanding of RUP and/or Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of application servers.

• Proficient in building and deployment tools, including Ant and Azure Pipelines.

• Experienced in Azure DevOps.

• Knowledgeable in development tools and Git-based workflows.

• Ability to automate application deployments and updates to environment configurations.

• Familiarity with RDBMS.

• Strong communication skills and ability to participate in multilingual meetings.

• Capability to work in an international setting.

• Ability to work as a freelancer on a fully remote basis.

• EU nationality is required for obtaining necessary security clearance.
