Site Reliability Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and develop systems that facilitate automated operational workflows and offer insights into global network data.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks arising from process inefficiencies, manual labor, and technical debt.

• Generate telemetry data and provide deep observability for network infrastructure.

• Architect robust, maintainable, and self-sustaining code using CI/CD, test-driven development, and iterative design principles.

• Support and deploy cloud-native third-party software through infrastructure as code practices.

• Maintain and improve network telemetry and automation software stacks.

• Contribute to the reliability of complex, interconnected global systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience or capability in contributing to the design and implementation of full stack systems.

• Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and create software solutions to alleviate process bottlenecks.

• Experience in maintaining and enhancing network telemetry and automation software stacks.

• Knowledge of source of truth systems, metric agents, time-series databases, dashboarding, and alerting mechanisms.

• Consistent application of software development and SDLC best practices.

• Understanding of global, complex, interconnected systems and their reliability.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, test-driven development, iterative design, cloud-native software, and infrastructure as code.
