Lead SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all elements of software or hardware product delivery and performance.

• Collaborate with design engineering, test engineering, manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional business teams.

• Manage products from the completion of final design through validation, qualification, and the release of high-volume production.

• Ensure that products are technically proficient, scalable for manufacturing, and meet performance, quality, and customer specifications.

• Assess, verify, and qualify advanced technology components and systems.

• Create and implement engineering test strategies.

• Evaluate performance data, pinpoint risks, and initiate corrective measures.

• Assist in the successful introduction of products and their lifecycle management.

• Coordinate across engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams to address complex product challenges.

• Enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

• Provide guidance to leadership on technical and operational strategies.

• Tackle complex technical issues, prioritize competing demands, and make independent decisions with minimal supervision.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of project leadership experience.

• Familiarity with the technologies utilized in the application(s) or infrastructure.

• Experience with unit testing and mocking techniques.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes within set timelines.

• Proficient in effective communication and delivering presentations to senior leadership.

• Extensive experience in leading special projects and generating metrics, measurements, and trend reports.

• A strong desire to contribute to an organization that is dedicated to continuously enhancing consumer experiences.

• An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

• Proven ability to manage large-scale, highly visible programs with oversight of multiple project teams is preferred.

• A solid grasp of operations, technology, communications, and processes is preferred.

• Experience in a dedicated SRE organization is preferred.

• Six Sigma certification is preferred.

• ITIL certification is preferred.

• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is required.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information is required.
