Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components utilizing established architecture standards.

• Automate repetitive tasks related to provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operations.

• Implement controls for security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and records of changes.

• Collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams.

• Contribute to the development of reliable and maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in a relevant professional capacity.

• Hands-on experience with Linux, Python/Bash, distributed systems, SLI/SLO, incident response, monitoring, and automation for reliability.

• Professional background in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations pertinent to the role.

• Practical knowledge of various cloud platforms, operating systems, container technologies, or automation tools.

• Familiarity with the fundamentals of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability.

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code practices.

• Ability to methodically troubleshoot infrastructure and production-related issues.

• Strong skills in documentation and collaboration across teams.
