This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Oversee the daily operations of the quality control program.
• Participate in project pre-construction meetings to discuss the QMS Program and review Lessons Learned with subcontractors and manufacturers.
• Educate team members on the quality control program and assist in resolving any related inquiries.
• Administer the initial setup of projects in the quality program database, provide support for database maintenance, and help implement audits to evaluate the quality program's effectiveness.
• Ensure that the quality program consistently delivers fair and efficient monitoring of the organization's overall quality in a timely manner.
• Gather data from the quality control program for company use (including marketing, training, and identifying areas for improvement/best practices).
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify the implementation of quality controls, reporting findings to the Project Team and Leadership.
• Carry out quality control inspections on installations as they occur to guarantee strict adherence to contract documents.
• Collaborate with the Service Team Manager to integrate checklist items into the QMS System based on warranty callback issues.
• Inspect products, materials, and equipment upon arrival at the job site to ensure compliance with contract documents and approved submittals.
• Confirm that manufacturer, fabricator, and installer qualifications are up-to-date and meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate necessary sampling of work promptly, allowing adequate time for testing and analysis to avoid work delays.
• Manage and maintain the job site test and inspection plan, ensuring all documentation is current, including any modifications to work or design criteria.
• Develop and sustain an approved Project Specific Quality Control Plan.
• An associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school AND a minimum of five years of construction experience OR at least seven years of relevant construction experience with increasing responsibility in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in the light/heavy industrial sector is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• The chosen candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills and will be required to travel up to 100% of the time.
