This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• This position requires presence at designated site(s) to promptly address any failures or interruptions in equipment operation.

• Working hours may fluctuate based on the trading and operational needs of the plant.

• National Grid peaker operations generally occur in the early morning and/or evening, although they can be unpredictable.

• Attendance times will need to be agreed upon in advance.

• Responsible for daily operations and record maintenance for infrastructure, plant, and equipment.

• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of all mechanical, thermal, and electrical equipment utilized at the Company’s energy production sites.

• Conduct fault diagnosis, location, and resolution.

• Provide breakdown response for generating assets to minimize outages.

• Offer support for call-out cover to remotely address generating asset and equipment failures in the vicinity.

• Demonstrate a commitment to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental practices by adhering to all procedures and exercising sound judgment.

• Ensure compliance with and implementation of company protection protocols while actively maintaining, monitoring, reporting, and auditing.

• Manage your time efficiently.

• Focus on the continual improvement of skills and knowledge, both for yourself and your team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a mechanical or electrical discipline.

• Familiarity with generation assets such as reciprocating engines and solar technology.

• Proficient in computer skills.
