This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as A2G’s senior on-site representative at designated operating locations.
• Oversee on-site operations, including customer relations, flight operations, collections, processing, administration, logistics, aircraft maintenance, personnel welfare, facilities, and communication.
• Coordinate daily operational planning, scope, design, and execution.
• Maintain oversight of on-site personnel, equipment, and operational readiness.
• Assist in developing, refining, and implementing operational procedures.
• Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with government metrics, including GFR audits per AR95-20 / DCMA 8210.1D.
• Collaborate with aircrew members to support Flight Operations.
• Enforce flight standards and regulatory compliance to guarantee safe operations.
• Monitor and track flight status and mission execution.
• Provide support for scheduling, logistics, procurement, and pre-deployment training coordination.
• Address operational challenges and maintain communication with program management and clients.
• Submit precise daily flight operation reports and prioritize theater flight needs.
• Develop plans for site stand-up, shutdown, and mobilization, including lead-time estimates for customer and PMO briefings.
• Deliver timely updates and reporting to CONUS leadership.
• Support CONUS and OCONUS collection missions, including deployments lasting up to 90 days.
• Perform additional duties as necessary to ensure program responsiveness.
• Previous experience serving in or directly supporting U.S. military Special Operations Forces.
• Familiarity with airborne ISR operations, collection systems, and mission-support requirements.
• Strong understanding of military operations, terminology, command structures, and joint or interagency planning processes.
• Proficient knowledge of airborne collection platforms, EO/IR sensors, radar systems, remote-sensing payloads, or other relevant mission equipment.
• Understanding of flight and ground operating procedures and the ability to manage compliance with DCMA Instruction 8210.1D.
• Knowledge of ISR collection tactics, techniques, and procedures, including targeting and collection-management cycles.
• Proven experience in leading geographically separated or deployed operational teams.
• Capacity to manage multiple functional areas while ensuring operational awareness and accountability.
• Ability to convey rapid, accurate, and actionable information to program leadership and clients.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic operational environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and electronic reporting systems.
• Bachelor’s degree with eight (8)+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience with an operational focus and experience leading or managing teams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must possess a valid U.S. passport and a state-issued driver's license.
• Must currently hold an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Must successfully complete all contractual, company, and program training requirements.
• Must be willing and able to deploy for periods of up to 90 days.
• Must be able to work nonstandard hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts when necessary.
• Must successfully pass background investigations, preemployment screenings, and drug testing.
• Must remain eligible for random and active-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Preferred: Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Preferred: Previous experience as site lead, detachment commander, mission manager, operations manager, or similar deployed leadership role.
• Preferred: Experience supporting GFR surveillance, DCMA compliance reviews, government inspections, or aviation program audits.
• Preferred: Experience in establishing, mobilizing, or closing geographically separated operating locations.
• Compensation is provided only during authorized training and deployment rotations.
• Intervals between assignments are generally classified as leave without pay (LWOP).
• Initial and ongoing training may be conducted in Titusville, Florida.
• Permanent relocation is not a requirement.
