Site Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee on-site operations, which encompass direct interactions with customers, flight operations, collections, processing, administration, logistics, aircraft maintenance, personnel welfare, facilities, and communications.

• Facilitate daily operational planning, scope, design, and execution.

• Ensure supervision of on-site personnel, equipment, and operational readiness.

• Assist in the development, refinement, and implementation of operational procedures.

• Perform site audits to ensure compliance with Government metrics, including GFR audits per AR95-20 / DCMA 8210.1D.

• Collaborate with aircrew members to bolster Flight Operations.

• Uphold flight standards and regulatory compliance to guarantee safe operations.

• Monitor and track flight status and mission execution.

• Aid in scheduling, logistics, procurement, and coordination of pre-deployment training.

• Address operational challenges and maintain communication with program management and clients.

• Provide precise daily flight operation reports and prioritize theater flight requirements.

• Develop plans for site stand-up, shutdown, and mobilization, including lead-time estimates for customer and PMO briefings.

• Deliver timely updates and reports to CONUS leadership.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to ensure program responsiveness.

• Support CONUS and OCONUS collection missions, with potential deployment for up to 90 days.

• Act as A2G’s senior on-site representative at designated operating locations.

• Ensure that site activities adhere to contractual obligations, FAA Part 91, DCMA Instruction 8210.1D, A2G procedures, and relevant government regulations.

• Offer additional program expertise as a pilot or mission sensor operator when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in or directly supporting U.S. military Special Operations Forces.

• Familiarity with airborne ISR operations, collection systems, and mission-support needs.

• Strong grasp of military operations, terminology, command relationships, and joint or interagency planning processes.

• Practical knowledge of airborne collection platforms, EO/IR sensors, radar systems, remote-sensing payloads, or other relevant mission equipment.

• Understanding of flight and ground operating procedures, with the ability to ensure daily compliance with DCMA Instruction 8210.1D.

• Knowledge of ISR collection tactics, techniques, and procedures, including targeting and collection-management cycles.

• Proven experience in leading geographically separated or deployed operational teams.

• Capability to manage multiple functional areas while maintaining operational awareness and accountability.

• Proficient in communicating prompt, accurate, and actionable information to program leadership and clients.

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a dynamic operational setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and electronic reporting systems.

• Bachelor’s degree with eight (8)+ years of relevant experience, or additional years of experience in place of a degree.

• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience focused on operations and experience in leading or managing teams.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Must possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Must have a valid U.S. passport and a state-issued driver's license.

• Must currently hold an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

• Must successfully complete all contractual, company, and program training requirements.

• Must be willing and able to deploy for up to 90 days.

• Must be available to work nonstandard hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as required by mission operations.

• Must successfully pass all necessary background investigations, preemployment screenings, and drug testing.

• Must remain eligible for random and active-employment drug and alcohol testing.

• Preferred: Active DoD Top Secret clearance.

• Preferred: Previous experience as a site lead, detachment commander, mission manager, operations manager, or similar deployed leader.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting GFR surveillance, DCMA compliance reviews, government inspections, or aviation program audits.

• Preferred: Experience in establishing, mobilizing, or closing geographically separated operating locations.

• Intervals between assignments are generally classified as leave without pay (LWOP).

• Initial and ongoing training may take place in Titusville, Florida.
