This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the implementation and enhancement of product page merchandising.
• Oversee product visuals, descriptions, and metadata to create engaging on-page narratives.
• Supervise the execution of upsell recommendations including related products, bundles, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Manage the Coordinator’s setup of Product Detail Pages (PDP) and data entry tasks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand presentation.
• Ensure PDP merchandising aligns with the brand's aesthetic and seasonal campaigns.
• Track PDP performance metrics and utilize data-driven insights for optimization.
• Lead the execution and enhancement of category pages, focusing on filtering/faceting, sorting logic, and visual merchandising.
• Design category experiences that guide customers in product selection while preserving brand aesthetic.
• Implement seasonal and trend-based category curation strategies to highlight collections, new products, and color variations.
• Manage category taxonomy and hierarchy to ensure the site structure is intuitive, scalable, and aligns with customer perceptions of fashion.
• Own the end-to-end management of Algolia: daily tuning, implementation of merchandising rules, and operational excellence.
• Organize product data and categorization to enhance search effectiveness and discoverability.
• Conduct A/B testing on discovery experiences (category curation, search ranking, filters, merchandising rules) as designed by the Senior Site Merchandising Manager, CRO Manager, and Data Science team.
• Monitor performance metrics for category, navigation, and search, providing recommendations for optimization.
• Supervise the Site Merchandising Coordinator, offering direction, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Establish and maintain processes for PDP/PLP updates, seasonal refreshes, product launches, and campaign execution.
• Oversee quality assurance for data entry, merchandise accuracy, and consistency in categorization.
• Monitor Okendo reviews and utilize customer feedback to guide merchandising recommendations.
• Track metrics and report on team productivity and execution quality to the Senior Site Merchandising Manager.
• Develop scalable processes as the team and business expand.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, ideally within fashion, apparel, or lifestyle retail (Direct-to-Consumer preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus is highly preferred.
• Proficient in site search/discovery platforms (Algolia, Elasticsearch, or similar), with a preference for Algolia experience.
• Expertise in web analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, FullStory, Hotjar, or similar).
• Proven experience in optimizing PDP/PLP and developing product merchandising strategies.
• Leadership or supervisory experience — capable of managing direct reports, establishing processes, and fostering accountability.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Contentful, Sanity, Shopify Meta Objects, or similar is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A passion for fashion, apparel, and consumer behavior — adept at balancing brand storytelling with conversion optimization.
