This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create a detailed, data-driven sales strategy and business plan aimed at fostering market development across the region.
• Assemble and lead a team of skilled and high-performing Oncology Specialists to implement sales strategies and optimize opportunities for enhancing profitability and market share.
• Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop team members.
• Design and refine customized presentations tailored for Oncologists and the cancer care community.
• Leverage data to evaluate sales performance, recognize industry trends, and remain informed about competition to boost sales volume and drive success within the territory.
• A minimum of 4+ years of field sales management experience leading a team of sales representatives at a molecular diagnostics or liquid biopsy company is required, specifically with direct sales to Oncologists within the geographical area, along with an established portfolio of convertible client relationships.
• Proven experience in hiring, developing, coaching, and motivating a team of sales representatives to surpass ambitious sales targets.
• A demonstrated record of successful sales achievements (e.g., multiple awards such as President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Circle of Excellence, or equivalent), with solid negotiation and closing capabilities, strong data analysis expertise, an understanding of buyer/decision maker types, effective selling, listening, and presentation skills, a strong focus on pull-through, and good follow-through abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal), with a proven ability to effectively present to internal and external stakeholders.
• Required effective time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
• Highly intelligent, adaptable, self-motivated, and results-driven, possessing strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the capacity to think strategically while executing tactically.
• Must act with urgency and a focus on closing business.
• Capability to evaluate the needs of Oncologists and their office staff, with an emphasis on consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem-solving.
