This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Site Managers are tasked with the planning, organization, coordination, monitoring, and administration of onsite work to ensure the successful completion of project requirements on schedule, within budget, and in line with the company’s quality and safety standards.
• Establishes robust client relationships to promote successful, timely, and profitable projects, fostering opportunities for repeat business.
• Oversees the Maintenance & Repair System (Prime) for all service orders and coordinates with the Service Order Manager or other management as needed to support service orders.
• Remains actively engaged with all ongoing maintenance activities, objectives, and goals.
• Reviews and provides technical guidance on service order scopes of work, ensuring that health and safety plans and quality plans are created and adhered to.
• Acts as the primary professional support on service orders between Pond, Subcontractors, Huntsville Corp of Engineers, and the Service Control Points.
• Collaborates with the recurring maintenance manager to ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and that all tasks are executed per contract specifications.
• Monitors the contract budget, prioritizes service orders based on available funds, and assists the Task Order PM in requesting funding increases from the client when necessary.
• Conducts weekly meetings with subcontractors to discuss preparatory actions for upcoming work. (DPSHQC review)
• Facilitates bi-weekly meetings with HNC PM to discuss preparatory actions for scheduled work and to identify and address any issues or concerns.
• Works alongside project coordinators to ensure that service orders are efficiently prioritized through each phase of the process.
• Keeps the client informed and updated on the status of high-priority and high-risk repairs as well as any pending issues.
• Maintains a 3-week look ahead schedule and participates in 2-week look ahead meetings with the Program Manager/Operations Manager.
• Ensures all contract deliverables are submitted punctually.
• Attends all RM events (as applicable) at each assigned Task Order location throughout the contract year.
• Oversees the development of service orders by Project Coordinators and collaborates with Task Order Safety managers to create work plans for High Risk/Complex service orders.
• Analyzes subcontractor scopes of work and pricing for service orders.
• Utilizes UFGS/UFC/EM-385 guidance to review and approve service orders daily for accuracy.
• Mentors and develops subordinate staff.
• The candidate must possess 5 years of experience (preferably with DoD military) in wetted fueling systems, including piping, mechanical work, fueling upgrades, fuel hydrant systems, tank work, coatings work, inspections, and repairs.
• Knowledge of construction practices, UFGS, UFC, ASME codes, API, and North American and/or international standards related to the design, construction, inspection, and repair processes of the POL system.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance and/or a favorable Background Investigation (BI).
• Capability to read and interpret construction project drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
• OSHA 30-hour training is preferred.
• HAZWOPER training is preferred.
