This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the representative for the Project and the Organization in interactions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and local authorities on-site.

• Oversee all site activities carried out by the organization, consortium partners, and subcontractors utilizing a Daily Management System.

• Manage the entire range of site operations, from site mobilization to final acceptance and site closure.

• Ensure accountability for Safety, schedule adherence, Quality, Cost, and compliance with statutory labor regulations for all jobsite activities.

• Lead site engineers and managers by providing training and support.

• Coordinate assistance from PCCM and the Head Office as necessary.

• Carry out performance evaluations of site personnel, including contract and project lifecycle staff.

• Conclude site subcontracts with fair and appropriate cost allocations.

• Enforce GE Vernova’s EHS policy and management systems at the site.

• Report accidents, near misses, deviations, and instances of non-compliance.

• Implement corrective measures to reduce or eliminate unsafe practices and conditions.

• Ensure comprehensive training for site staff on safer work methods and investigate any accidents.

• Prepare and execute risk assessments and method statements for high-risk tasks.

• Conduct TBT, PTW, and PoW activities at project locations.

• Ensure participation of Site Managers and package managers in daily TBTs.

• Identify critical lifts and create method statements and risk assessments.

• Perform weekly GENBA walkdowns and address corrective actions.

• Guarantee mandatory EHS training for GE personnel and site workers.

• Manage the RFI process with site subcontractors, ensuring proper resolution of technical issues.

• Implement quality control and inspection protocols in line with the contract and approved quality assurance plan.

• Apply the Daily Management System, Nonconformance Cost, and Cost of Poor Quality processes at the site.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with experience in turbine and auxiliaries packages.

• Over 15 years of experience.

• Minimum experience as a lead in a TI package.

• Successfully supported the commissioning of at least one unit of 600MW or larger.

• Demonstrated leadership and social competence.

• Proficient in negotiation and presentation skills.

• Ability to make quick and thorough judgments.

• Possess an energetic and positive problem-solving approach.

• Strong interpersonal and responsive skills.

• Capable of delegating tasks, setting priorities, and taking direct action towards goals.

• High level of cost awareness.

• Extensive understanding of power plant systems, TI piping, turbines, and auxiliaries.
