Site Leader – Technical Sales, Paper Chemicals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead and support a sales and service team focused on customer satisfaction at the local level.

• Manage key customer relationships and act as the main technical sales representative.

• Create and implement account strategies to meet sales, profitability, and growth goals.

• Provide on-site technical assistance, including troubleshooting, inspections, and process improvement.

• Supervise the design, installation, and maintenance of chemical feed and delivery systems.

• Identify new business opportunities and enhance existing customer relationships.

• Track product performance and service quality while addressing customer issues.

• Conduct data analysis and document return-on-investment (ROI) for both current and proposed applications.

• Prepare and present timely reports on customer service and business updates.

• Communicate customer needs, project opportunities, and operational requirements internally.

• Keep accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, expense reports, and customer information.

• Participate in industry conferences, customer meetings, and company training sessions.

• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement and support project completion across the designated territory.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Paper Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience in the industry.

• 10–15 years of experience in the paper manufacturing sector.

• Demonstrated experience in technical sales and account management.

• Capability to develop and implement strategic account plans.

• Excellent skills in building customer relationships and communicating effectively.

• Experience in documenting and presenting ROI analyses.

• Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and business planning.

• Strong project leadership and organizational abilities.
