Site Leader – Technical Sales, Chemical Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a local team focused on customer sales and service.

• Manage key customer relationships, acting as the main technical sales contact.

• Create and implement account strategies to meet sales, profitability, and growth targets.

• Provide on-site technical assistance, including troubleshooting, inspections, and process enhancements.

• Supervise the design, installation, and upkeep of chemical feed and delivery systems.

• Identify new business prospects and enhance current customer relationships.

• Monitor product performance and service quality while addressing customer issues.

• Perform data analysis and document return-on-investment (ROI) for both existing and prospective applications.

• Prepare and present timely customer service reports and business updates.

• Communicate customer needs, project opportunities, and operational requirements internally.

• Keep precise records of sales activities, forecasts, expense reports, and customer information.

• Attend industry conferences, customer meetings, and participate in company training sessions.

• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and assist with project completion across the designated territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in: Paper Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or relevant industry experience.

• 10–15 years of experience within the paper manufacturing sector.

• Demonstrated technical sales and account management expertise.

• Capability to develop and implement strategic account plans.

• Excellent skills in building customer relationships and communicating effectively.

• Experience in documenting and presenting ROI analyses.

• Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and business planning.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills in project management.
