Majors Sales Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage the entire sales process from initial lead engagement to ongoing utilization for commercial clients.

• Coordinate proof-of-concept implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.

• Lead and participate in team initiatives aimed at enhancing our sales methodology.

• Collaborate with product teams to develop and uphold the dbt Cloud commercial roadmap.

• Become proficient in SQL, dbt, and commercial data operations.

• Actively engage as a member of the dbt open source community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in technology sales, demonstrating a successful history of surpassing annual sales targets.

• Capability to comprehend complex technical concepts and translate them into a consultative sales approach.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to connect with stakeholders across all levels of an analytics organization, from individual developers to CTOs.

• Strong diligence and organizational abilities to navigate lengthy and complex sales cycles involving multiple client teams.

• Competence to thrive in a dynamic and fast-evolving work environment.

• A commitment to being an inclusive team member and an engaged community participant.

• Experience with SQL or a willingness to acquire the necessary skills.
