This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the main point of responsibility for site activation and initiation activities on designated studies.
• Supervise interdisciplinary site activation efforts to ensure that milestones are met timely and within budget constraints.
• Oversee precise tracking, analysis, and reporting of site activation progress and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with project teams to assist with feasibility assessments, site qualification, selection, and regulatory tasks as necessary.
• Relay site activation status, potential risks, and mitigation strategies to Sponsors, project leadership, and internal teams.
• Create and sustain site activation project plans while supporting risk assessment and issue resolution efforts.
• Ensure that site activation tasks are properly budgeted, with any out-of-scope work monitored and managed through change control processes.
• Promote continuous improvement by developing SOPs, implementing best practices, and engaging in departmental initiatives.
• Participate in business development efforts, including the creation of proposals and support during bid defenses.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, escalating issues as necessary to guarantee timely delivery.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, ICH GCP, and relevant regulatory standards.
• A bachelor's degree or nursing degree is mandatory.
• At least 4 years of experience in a CRO environment focusing on Study Start-Up, with experience as a country lead or manager required.
• Strong skills in cross-cultural communication.
