This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and sustain Python pipelines and tools for closed-loop testing and synthetic data creation.
• Incorporate advanced neural rendering methods into our sensor simulation framework (e.g., Gaussian splatting, NeRFs, world models).
• Enhance and oversee the scenario library and benchmark suite utilized for assessing perception, planning, and control.
• Create synthetic data generation processes, including scenario and agent behavior development, to facilitate model training.
• Collaborate closely with machine learning and autonomy engineers to evaluate and minimize sim-to-real discrepancies, ensuring that the simulation accurately represents real-world behavior.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong expertise in Python (the primary language used in the simulation framework).
• Experience with simulation systems, preferably in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or other high-fidelity fields.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• This position offers a base salary along with benefits and equity compensation. Salary ranges are based on role, level, and location. Within the specified range, individual compensation is influenced by additional factors such as qualifications, skills, experience, and geographical location.
