This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute simulations for thermal, structural, and material processes.
• Confirm models by comparing them with physical test data and actual production results.
• Utilize mesh and CAD data to establish simulation-ready geometry representations.
• Incorporate solvers and workflows into a cloud/on-prem hybrid infrastructure.
• Collaborate with geometry and software teams to enhance design and automation logic.
• Improve simulation runtimes for better performance and accuracy.
• Over 5 years of experience in physics-based simulation (FEA, CFD, or similar).
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical behavior, contact mechanics, heat transfer, or fluid dynamics.
• Experience with commercial or custom solvers (Ansys, Abaqus, COMSOL, in-house solutions).
• Proficient in Python and/or C++ programming languages.
• Familiarity with geometry formats such as B-rep, STL, and volumetric meshes.
• Strong analytical skills to reason from first principles and validate models against real-world scenarios.
