Session Director – Swiss German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Facilitate live recording sessions with Voice Contributors using scripted scenarios.

• Guide voice performers towards achieving a natural and conversational delivery.

• Establish context for scenes and improvise to address narrative or dialogue gaps.

• Modify scripted text for authentic phrasing and regional or dialect accuracy.

• Supervise and rectify technical audio quality in real-time.

• Control session pacing to achieve recording objectives.

• Keep organized records of changes and retakes.

• Foster a supportive, low-pressure atmosphere for performers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Swiss German with a keen ear for colloquial and natural phrasing.

• Proven experience in directing, coaching, or producing voice or audio talent.

• Ability to provide clear, specific, and actionable performance feedback.

• Strong understanding of basic recording and microphone techniques, including proximity, plosives, room noise, and levels.

• Comfortable with improvisation and making on-the-spot adjustments to scripted content.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport with performers of diverse experience levels.
