Session Director – English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate live recording sessions with Voice Contributors using scripted scenarios

• Guide voice performers to achieve a natural and conversational delivery

• Construct scene context and improvise to bridge narrative or dialogue gaps

• Modify scripted content for authentic phrasing and regional/dialect accuracy

• Supervise and adjust technical audio quality in real time

• Control session pacing to meet recording objectives

• Keep detailed notes on modifications and retakes

• Foster a supportive and low-pressure atmosphere for performers

⛳️ Requirements

• Native fluency in the specified language with a particular dialect and a keen ear for natural, colloquial expressions

• Proven experience in directing, coaching, or producing voice or audio talent, including voice direction, casting direction, audio/podcast production, dubbing/ADR, or theater direction

• Established ability to provide clear, specific, and actionable performance guidance

• Strong foundational knowledge of basic recording/mic techniques, including proximity, plosives, room noise, and audio levels

• Comfortable with improvisation and adjusting scripted content on the fly

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly establish rapport with performers of diverse experience levels
