ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• Design custom applications, make customizations, and establish robust integrations using APIs.

• Implement features in accordance with the platform’s best practices.

• Ensure quality, security, governance, and optimal performance.

• Collaborate with both technical and business teams to provide effective solutions that meet organizational requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in developing custom applications on the ServiceNow platform (Scoped Applications).

• Familiarity with and use of ServiceNow REST APIs (Table API, Scripted REST APIs, Import Set API).

• Ability to configure workflows using Flow Designer and Legacy Workflows.

• Application of DevOps / CI/CD methodologies to the ServiceNow lifecycle (Update Sets, ATF, pipeline with Now Platform CLI or similar).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Capability to independently resolve complex platform and integration challenges.

• Skill in analyzing business requirements and transforming them into effective ServiceNow solutions.

• Proficient in clear technical communication to convey APIs and integrations to non-technical and consuming teams.

• Strong attention to detail in API contracts, business logic, and security configurations.

• Logical and analytical reasoning skills to troubleshoot failures in workflows and integrations.

• Ability to negotiate deadlines and priorities with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns applied to JavaScript on the platform.

• Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and delivery ceremonies.

• Certified System Administrator (CSA) — ServiceNow — is desirable.

• Certified Application Developer (CAD) — ServiceNow — is desirable.

• Scope-specific certifications (ITSM, HRSD, CSM, IntegrationHub, etc.) are considered advantageous differentiators.
