This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Convert intricate business requirements into technical designs and solutions utilizing ServiceNow.
• Oversee the development of ServiceNow applications in alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
• Offer technical expertise and mentorship to fellow ServiceNow developers.
• Create, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
• Keep abreast of ServiceNow products, features, and trends in the industry.
• Conduct technical evaluations and suggest enhancements to current ServiceNow implementations.
• Assess functionality developed by the ServiceNow development team.
• Execute unit, system, and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Support comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
• Showcase developed applications to product owners and end users.
• Engage in platform upgrades, including regression testing and reconfiguration.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must secure an approved adjudication of clearance before onboarding with Guidehouse.
• At least six (6) years of professional experience required.
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls is essential.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, along with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
• Experience in web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST, is preferred.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), along with experience in Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
• Experience in an Agile work environment is important.
• Robust interpersonal skills with the capacity to build rapport with a diverse range of individuals at all levels.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD) are a plus.
• Agile, SCRUM, or SAFe certifications are advantageous.
• A general understanding of financial management aspects, especially in a federal context, is beneficial.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an active "SECRET" or higher-level clearance.
• Ability to travel to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week is a plus.
