Service Technician, Team Leader – Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist the Field Service Manager (FSM) in ensuring that all standard operating procedures are followed in accordance with established policies and processes.

• Provide technical, administrative, and general assistance to technicians and Service Partners (SP) within their designated geographical areas.

• Deliver training to technicians and Service Partners (SP) covering policy, process, and technical components of the role.

• Oversee and manage the workload and workflow of technicians and SPs.

• Conduct troubleshooting (remotely or onsite) for repairs, programming, installations, and preventive maintenance on coffee and beverage equipment in the field.

• Create schedules for on-call service rotations.

• Travel to customer locations, fostering and maintaining strong customer relationships while interacting professionally with both customers and staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is required; a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Bilingual in French and English, possessing excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong decision-making capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and possess general computer skills.

• A minimum of 3 years of technical experience is required; experience in electrical and/or plumbing fields is preferred, along with appliance repair and refrigeration experience.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Willingness and ability to participate in on-call rotations and food show events as scheduled, as well as work overtime when necessary.

• Self-motivated with the capability to prioritize tasks and make job-related decisions.

• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
