This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Actively oversee and cultivate service sales opportunities within the designated install base across Ireland.
• Recognize customer requirements and advocate suitable service solutions, such as maintenance contracts, upgrades, retrofits, spare parts, and digital services.
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for service-related solutions.
• Generate and manage sales leads, guiding them from opportunity identification to order intake.
• Work closely with the Service Operations, Engineering, and Digital teams to ensure proposals are both technically and commercially sound.
• Prepare and deliver service proposals, quotations, and commercial offers in accordance with Hitachi Energy processes.
• Assist with contract renewals, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives across the service portfolio.
• Maintain precise sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting using internal CRM and sales tools.
• Keep track of market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities.
• Ensure strict adherence to Hitachi Energy policies, including Health, Safety, Quality, and Ethics standards.
• Demonstrated experience in service sales, technical sales, or a comparable customer-facing commercial role.
• A background in electrical engineering, power systems, energy, or industrial services is highly preferred.
• Experience engaging with installed base customers and lifecycle service offerings.
• Familiarity with digital services, condition monitoring, or data-driven service solutions is a plus.
• Strong commercial insight and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a broader service team.
