Service Engineer – Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on Buehler metallographic and hardness testing product lines.

• Foster and uphold effective communication and relationships with customers and management.

• Maintain a polite, professional, and smart demeanor when interacting with customers, contractors, management, and colleagues.

• Complete all required documentation electronically.

• Follow all Health and Safety protocols to ensure both personal and team safety.

• Manage time efficiently to maximize productivity on jobs.

• Update the service team on job progress.

• Exchange best practices and knowledge with fellow team members.

• Report directly to the Line Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education in mechatronics or electrical engineering, or several years of vocational training in a related field.

• Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical engineering.

• Proficient in using ERP systems and MS Office applications.

• Comfortable working independently and goal-oriented, with a willingness to visit clients on-site.

• Strong technical aptitude and logical problem-solving abilities.

• Motivated, adaptable, and eager to tackle challenges.

• Capable of planning and executing tasks independently.

• Effective communicator, eager to coordinate with staff and clients.

• Valid UK driving licence.
