Service Center Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Accelerate the claims application process.

• Ensure accurate assignment of cases.

• Serve as a customer liaison, guiding customers to the appropriate contact person.

• Resolve customer inquiries related to the application process and service.

• Communicate with customers through phone and written correspondence regarding the claims process.

• Inform customers about necessary claim documentation, timelines, payment details, and claim status.

• Accurately input verbal and written application data into the claims management system.

• Allocate new claims to the suitable claims handler.

• Route customer calls to the right person across all locations.

• Engage in and uphold a quality service culture within the Customer Service Team.

• Adhere to scheduled work hours.

• Support the organization's quality program(s).

• Execute other assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is a must.

• Preferred: One (1) year of customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience in an inbound call center is preferred.

• Familiarity with disability plan eligibility, coverage, and benefits.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation capabilities.

• Proficiency in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Competent keyboarding skills.

• Adequate hearing, vision, and verbal communication abilities.
