SEO/AI Search Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of up to 10 clients from start to finish, serving as their primary point of contact.

• Participate in client calls to gather requirements and convert them into orders/briefs for the delivery teams.

• Review client questionnaires and onboarding information to gain insights into the client and identify any gaps.

• Provide relevant inputs to the appropriate delivery partner or the company's internal AI application, and assess outputs against client expectations.

• Communicate deliverables, timelines, and outcomes back to the client effectively.

• Manage ambiguous requests by discerning whether they represent scope creep or standard inquiries, and make informed decisions.

• Proactively tackle obstacles by identifying small actionable steps to keep projects progressing rather than waiting idly.

• Utilize AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, and internal applications) regularly to enhance work efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Exceptional client-facing relationship skills, capable of managing challenging clients with emotional maturity.

• Experience in an agency setting—either as an account manager (3-5+ years) handling accounts or possessing a strong technical/SEO foundation that enables account management.

• Ability to make independent judgment calls instead of strictly adhering to checklists/SOPs.

• Comfortable incorporating AI tools into your daily workflow.

• Solid understanding of SEO/AI search strategies to engage effectively with SEO specialists and clients.

• Additional advantage for having direct hands-on experience in SEO or AI search (GEO).

• Experience collaborating with marketing agencies providing SEO services.

• Capability to evolve into an Account Director role, managing clients comprehensively from start to finish.
