This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist in enhancing organic search performance for various digital marketing initiatives across K12-powered schools.
β’ Carry out keyword research and analyze search intent for designated pages and topics.
β’ Implement on-page optimization strategies, which include title tags, meta descriptions, headers, body content, and internal linking.
β’ Perform content updates on priority pages based on ranking and traffic insights.
β’ Utilize local SEO best practices for school location pages and geographic targeting.
β’ Identify technical issues such as indexation problems, canonicals, and crawl errors for the internal team.
β’ Create data-driven content briefs that include target keywords, intent, and structure.
β’ Review and refine writers' content prior to publication.
β’ Adhere to established SEO guidelines and templates across the subdomain network.
β’ Deliver monthly performance reports covering rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics.
β’ Ensure thorough, timely, and accurate communication.
β’ Utilize SEO tools and platforms specific to the organization.
β’ Operate independently, typically working 40 hours per week.
β’ No formal supervisory duties required.
β’ A minimum of three (3) years of practical SEO experience, either in-house or at an agency, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Strong skills in keyword research and mapping search intent.
β’ Proficient in using SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
β’ Demonstrated success in improving rankings and traffic, supported by specific examples.
β’ Familiarity with indexation, canonicals, internal linking, and structured data.
β’ Excellent written communication skills and the ability to produce SEO-optimized content.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Capability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
β’ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistently able to meet deadlines.
β’ Strong commitment to quality and accountability in work outputs.
β’ An unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity, diversity, and trustworthiness.
β’ Ability to pass a required background check.
β’ Experience in the education sector, EdTech, or multi-location organizations is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with BrightEdge is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of AI search visibility is preferred.
β’ Experience with enterprise content management systems is preferred.
β’ Experience with schema markup and implementing structured data is preferred.
