SEO Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the current performance of organic search and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Perform keyword analysis and assess search intent and relevance.

• Enhance titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, and content organization.

• Review and refine existing content to boost organic visibility.

• Detect issues related to crawling, indexing, page speed, and overall page experience.

• Track organic traffic, impressions, clicks, CTR, and keyword positions.

• Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.

• Utilize SEO tools for conducting audits, monitoring rankings, and performing competitor analysis.

• Prioritize SEO strategies based on potential impact and project goals.

• Collaborate with content and development teams when technical assistance is needed.

• Confirm the effectiveness of changes made and observe their effects on organic performance.

• Generate reports that highlight progress, insights, and actionable recommendations.

• Document optimizations and suggest future enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in SEO, organic search, or website optimization.

• Proficiency in implementing On-Page SEO enhancements and optimizing content for search engines.

• Solid understanding of keyword research, search intent, and content structuring.

• Practical experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.

• Familiarity with SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools.

• Capability to analyze organic traffic, impressions, CTR, clicks, and ranking metrics.

• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Liferay, or similar.

• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for reviewing SEO-related website components.

• Experience in identifying both technical and content-related SEO opportunities.

• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage deliverables effectively.

• Skill in communicating findings and providing clear, data-driven recommendations.

• Availability to work around 20 hours per week.

• Advanced proficiency in English required, including effective communication in a professional setting.

• Independent contractor responsible for managing personal taxes, social security contributions, insurance, and other relevant local obligations.
