Senior/Staff Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee design initiatives from inception to completion, employing user-centered design methodologies that yield exceptional, industry-leading product experiences.

• Work in partnership with fellow designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to grasp requirements, solicit feedback, and make informed trade-offs.

• Address edge cases, failure scenarios, and operational risks within high-pressure environments.

• Acquire a foundational knowledge of the machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies integrated into our products to enhance every user interaction.

• Contribute to and refine an existing design system, ensuring consistency throughout the product and promoting efficiency within the team.

• Avoid allowing perfection to hinder the pursuit of excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Product Design or related disciplines.

• Demonstrated capability to transform operational complexities and uncertainties into straightforward, user-friendly experiences.

• Proven track record of collaborating across functions with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.

• Knowledge and application of various user research methodologies, with an understanding of which technique is most appropriate for each challenge.

• Expertise in contemporary design tools such as Figma, prototyping software, research instruments, design systems, and AI-driven design processes.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and programming concepts to enhance dialogue with engineers and comprehend technical constraints.

• Bonus: Experience working for or alongside the U.S. Military.
