Senior/Mid-Level Technology Consultant – SRE, Observability, Monitoring, Integration, Event & Incident, Visualization, Open Telemetry SME Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the integration of observability and monitoring operations and provide workflow support, including event-to-incident patterns as needed.

• Administer events and incident support associated with monitoring platforms.

• Deliver visualization assistance, which includes dashboards, operational views, and reporting.

• Aid in the implementation of OpenTelemetry, covering instrumentation patterns, collector operations, and telemetry management when required.

• Develop automation solutions utilizing Splunk SOAR/Ansible.

• Become a part of Makpar's expanding team as an SRE/Observability/Monitoring/Integration/Event & Incident/Visualization/OpenTelemetry Subject Matter Expert Support consultant.

• Assist in managing events and incidents related to clients' monitoring platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in enterprise monitoring, observability, or APM engineering, including architecture and integration tasks.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Practical experience in designing event-to-incident workflows and utilizing ITSM tooling.

• Proficient understanding of OpenTelemetry instrumentation patterns and collector operations.

• Experience in creating dashboards and operational reporting views for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Splunk SOAR or Ansible within a production setting.
