This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance cutting-edge infrastructure.

• Create new platforms utilizing public/private cloud frameworks.

• Promote automation, security, scalability, and Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Implement DevOps methodologies within product teams.

• Design automated workflows, versioning strategies, and deployment protocols.

• Collaborate intimately with development teams to support Kotlin-based services.

• Modify Gradle build configurations, container setups, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform minor code adjustments and review pull requests.

• Assist in deployment, release, and operational processes, as well as incident analysis and performance enhancements.

• Automate infrastructure configurations using Ansible and refine playbooks.

• Streamline build, deployment, and monitoring processes via Jenkins and Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Leverage Infrastructure as Code to facilitate reproducible infrastructure.

• Gradually migrate applications into containerized environments and enhance Docker workflows.

• Provide monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Grafana, Loki, and LibreNMS.

• Identify opportunities for optimization and maintain system stability and performance.

• Assess and implement AI-assisted tools and workflows, such as Agentic Programming.

• Contribute to shaping technical standards and architectural decisions within the Community of Practice.

• Document solutions and disseminate knowledge.


⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or automation of build and deployment.

• Strong understanding of Linux (Ubuntu), along with server and network configuration.

• Proficiency in Docker and Ansible.

• Ideally, experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.

• Knowledge of constructing and managing public/private cloud architectures.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like Grafana and Loki or similar tools.

• Openness to reading and, when necessary, modifying Kotlin code and Gradle builds.

• Structured and analytical approach to work.

• Knowledge of Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, Apache Tomcat, PostgreSQL, or security and compliance is advantageous but not mandatory.
