DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the planning of infrastructure and environmental architecture.

• Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.

• Develop and sustain scalable environments based on Kubernetes.

• Improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency of infrastructure.

• Diagnose issues related to production infrastructure, networking, and application delivery.

• Provide support and maintenance for existing environments.

• Enforce infrastructure security best practices, manage secrets, and control access.

• Work closely with development teams on infrastructure-related matters.

• Take part in incident response, root-cause analysis, and enhancements post-incident.

• Lead continuous improvement efforts and suggest new technologies and practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.

• Good understanding of YAML pipelines, reusable templates, approval gates, and governance in Azure Repos.

• Experience in managing Linux and Windows build agents and Azure Artifacts feeds.

• Practical knowledge of Terraform and/or Ansible.

• Strong scripting abilities in Bash and Python or PowerShell.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.

• Robust understanding of infrastructure and application security principles.

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or comparable secrets management solutions.

• Skilled in managing TLS certificates and secure configurations of infrastructure.

• Knowledge of least privilege, network segmentation, and isolated environments.

• Background in troubleshooting production systems and participating in incident responses.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• AWS experience with EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and VPC is a plus.

• Experience with AI infrastructure or LLM-powered services is a plus.

• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI APIs, or Anthropic APIs is a plus.

• Experience in monitoring and supporting AI workloads in production is a plus.

• Involvement in integrating AI-related automation into CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

• Practical use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is a plus.

• Knowledge of AI-related data protection and audit logging practices is a plus.
