DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Ensure the systems are highly available, resilient, and maintainable to support business growth.

• Automate monitoring, continuous integration, and delivery processes.

• Develop and implement automated provisioning solutions for both applications and infrastructure.

• Provision and manage cloud infrastructures on Azure.

• Design, implement, and maintain integrations with Identity Providers such as Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and Okta.

• Oversee SSO, federated identity, and MFA configurations.

• Provide operational and system expertise to software delivery teams.

• Address issues reported through Service Desk systems.

• Enhance information access and the performance and integrity of server infrastructure.

• Maintain documentation for server builds, configuration standards, and infrastructure architecture.

• Develop corrective action plans and Root Cause Analysis documents for both internal and client distribution.

• Automate and streamline infrastructure operations and DevOps practices.

• Build and maintain deployment, monitoring, and operational tools utilizing the latest technologies, including Agentic AI.

• Monitor the technical environment and ensure prompt resolution of technical issues.

• Identify system performance issues and supervise the development and proper usage of resolution tools.

• Support and maintain environments for customer-facing production, QA, and development.

• Report and manage risks in accordance with ISO 27001 controls.

• Safeguard assets, information security, and control structures.

• Collaborate across technology departments and work with database programmers, analysts, and system administrators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or STEM field or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Understanding of DevOps tools for creating digital pipelines.

• Experience in building scripts, tooling, and automation for computing environments.

• Ability to specify, design, and/or implement system health and performance monitoring tools.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

• Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Services, Log Analytics, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Storage accounts, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.

• Understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong expertise with Identity Providers, including Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace Identity, and Okta.

• Knowledge of SSO, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, and Auth0 protocols.

• Experience managing user lifecycles, directory synchronization, and RBAC in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

• Familiarity with Entra ID and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

• Knowledge of Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and the web services technology stack layers.

• Understanding of AI concepts, Python, and Azure Foundry is a plus.

• Experience with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Conditional Access policies is a plus.

• Familiarity with FinOps practices is a plus.

• Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to produce quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision.

• Capability to collaborate with internal Customer teams to drive improvements, goals, and prioritization.

• Proficient in English.
