Senior/Lead PHP Full-stack Developer, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack functionalities utilizing a PHP (Symfony) back-end and an Angular front-end.

• Take full ownership of the solution and partner with the Business Analyst to define requirements.

• Architect and integrate services employing microservices and layered design patterns.

• Expose and consume secure REST APIs.

• Model and optimize data using MSSQL.

• Enhance performance through Redis caching.

• Implement engineering practices such as MVC, Dependency Injection, and CQRS.

• Create and uphold unit and integration tests.

• Actively participate within an Agile/Scrum team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in PHP with practical experience in Symfony.

• Strong experience with Angular (version 2+, preferably 15) for developing modern front-ends.

• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, especially MSSQL, along with Redis caching.

• Solid understanding of MVC, Dependency Injection, and CQRS concepts.

• Familiarity with microservices and layered architectural styles.

• Proven experience in building and securing REST APIs, including OAuth.

• Background in delivering projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Robust testing discipline, including unit and integration testing.

• Experience with test-first methodologies (TDD/BDD) may be viewed as a plus.

• Cloud experience with Azure, including Azure Queue, may be considered advantageous.

• Knowledge of Docker and Elasticsearch may be an additional asset.

• Familiarity with React and Next.js may be a plus.

• Experience with Octopus for CI/CD may be an additional qualification.

• Acquaintance with the Phalcon framework may be an added advantage.

• Candidates must be based in Portugal.
