Senior/Lead Full Stack Developer – Java, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications utilizing Java and contemporary frontend technologies.

• Lead by example and mentor a development team in daily deliverables while consistently enhancing engineering practices.

• Propel technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

• Collaborate intimately with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.

• Ensure the code is clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested.

• Take ownership of features and independently deliver comprehensive solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial software development with Java.

• Strong proficiency with Java 17+, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.

• Good familiarity with JavaScript and React.js.

• Experience in designing and developing APIs.

• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, along with expertise in crafting and optimizing complex SQL queries.

• Solid grasp of design patterns, clean code principles, and testing methodologies.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum settings.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Willingness to utilize modern AI tools in daily development workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT).

• Experience participating in early-stage projects, especially in shaping solutions, collaborating with architects, and assessing alternative approaches.

• Comfortable taking responsibility for technical decisions or defending a proposed solution when challenged.

• Ability to travel internationally for business purposes.
