This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Establish and oversee the nationwide workplace operating model, ensuring service quality, operational readiness, employee experience, and handling escalations throughout India, specifically in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bangalore.
• Maintain the workplaces in India as safe, dependable, inviting, and aligned with employee, visitor, and business requirements.
• Manage integrated facilities-management governance, service standards, SLAs, KPIs, financial accountability, and escalation processes for facilities-management partners, contractors, and specialized vendors.
• Act as a strategic workplace partner to business leaders in India and regional REW leadership, anticipating emerging needs and aligning national priorities with the regional REW strategy.
• Oversee country-level operating budgets, forecasting, resource prioritization, purchasing practices, and vendor expenditures in collaboration with Finance and Procurement.
• Lead operational readiness and facilitate cross-functional handovers for office openings, expansions, renovations, relocations, commissioning, and post-occupancy stabilization.
• Govern and escalate matters related to workplace safety, compliance with facilities, emergency preparedness, incident response, corrective measures, and business continuity in partnership with relevant experts.
• Develop and continuously enhance scalable playbooks, standard operating procedures, service standards, documentation, and reporting across various sites.
• Establish service KPIs and utilize workplace data, employee feedback, operational metrics, and financial insights to guide leadership decisions and track improvements.
• Collaborate with Workplace Experience, Food, Corporate Security, IT, People, Finance, and Procurement on programs, executive visits, events, and office modifications.
• Provide senior operational leadership during incidents, ensuring clear communication with business and regional stakeholders while driving prompt resolutions and corrective actions.
• Promote an AI-enabled workplace through the practical application of AI, automation, and lightweight tools to enhance visibility, minimize manual tasks, and reinforce operational controls.
• 8+ years of experience in workplace, facilities, corporate real estate, hospitality operations, or a related field, particularly in complex or multi-site settings.
• Proven independent leadership of workplace or facilities operations across multiple locations in India, with experience in building or scaling operating models in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bangalore.
• Demonstrated management of integrated facilities-management providers, contractors, and specialized vendors, including SLAs, performance evaluations, escalations, and financial accountability.
• Responsibility for country-level operating budgets, forecasting, procurement, invoicing processes, and vendor expenditures.
• Familiarity with workplace safety, emergency preparedness, business continuity, and compliance related to facilities in India, coupled with sound judgment regarding when to engage specialists.
• A strong history of influencing business leaders in India, regional stakeholders, executives, landlords, vendors, and cross-functional partners without formal authority.
• Excellent project and change management skills across multiple workstreams, dependencies, and deadlines.
• A systems-oriented mindset and experience transforming recurring issues into defined processes, standards, reporting, and operating rhythms.
• Clear and proactive communication regarding operational risks, priorities, decisions, and trade-offs.
• Ability to independently own senior-level responsibilities, demonstrate sound risk and escalation judgment, and navigate confidently between country strategy and hands-on execution.
• Capability to thrive as the operating model evolves in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week, travel frequently between Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bangalore, and be based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai or Bangalore.
• Preferred: experience in a high-growth global technology company or a similarly complex, service-intensive organization.
• Preferred: direct involvement in the opening, expansion, relocation, or stabilization of offices in India.
