Senior Workplace Engineer – Microsoft 365 Copilot, German

• Play a vital role in administering, configuring, and governing Microsoft 365 Copilot, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant integration across the organization.

• Propel Microsoft 365 Innovation: Contribute to the deployment and ongoing enhancement of Microsoft 365 solutions, emphasizing Copilot while also supporting related technologies like Microsoft Purview, Power BI, and tenant administration.

• Facilitate Seamless User Experiences: Deliver 2nd-level support for Microsoft 365 services, addressing complex issues and assisting users in maximizing the benefits of Copilot and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.

• Streamline for Efficiency: Recognize opportunities to optimize operational activities by automating recurring tasks and processes, ideally using PowerShell, to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.

• Collaborate Across the Microsoft Ecosystem: Work alongside neighboring Microsoft 365 teams to create integrated, customer-focused solutions that boost productivity and unlock the full capabilities of Microsoft technologies.

• Ensure Security and Compliance: Assist in the implementation and continuous refinement of governance, security, and compliance protocols, utilizing tools like Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Microsoft Purview, and other security frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in administering and configuring Microsoft 365 Copilot within an enterprise setting.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including tenant administration, Microsoft Purview, and governance principles.

• Experience in establishing security and compliance measures, such as DLP, data governance, and access management.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation skills for improving operational efficiency and optimizing processes.

• Demonstrated experience in 2nd-level support, troubleshooting, and implementing technical solutions within Microsoft 365 environments.

• Familiarity with broader Microsoft Security and Compliance capabilities and best practices.

• Advanced proficiency in both German and English, with a minimum of B2 level.

• Regular engagement with AI tools to enhance productivity, automate or minimize repetitive tasks, support decision-making, and achieve higher-quality outcomes.

• Ability to utilize AI tools responsibly by crafting effective prompts, critically assessing outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result.
