This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take ownership of the complete integration ecosystem involving Workday and its connected systems.
• Develop scalable integration patterns and assess the best approaches (configuration vs integration vs API-driven solutions).
• Promote long-term scalability, reusability, and reliability of integration solutions.
• Regularly assess and enhance existing solutions, proposing new ideas and methods where suitable.
• Actively identify system, process, and data challenges, converting them into scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with HR and People Systems teams to co-create solutions that align with business processes.
• Design and construct intricate multi-system integration workflows, encompassing orchestration logic, conditional processing, error management, and data dependencies.
• Support and enhance integrations related to payroll, benefits (including open enrollment), and annual performance/merit cycles.
• Implement best practices for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and internally with People Systems.
• Generate and maintain technical specifications and integration documentation.
• Discover opportunities for improving integrations, processes, and system utilization.
• 5+ years of experience with Workday integrations in enterprise settings.
• Strong practical experience in constructing complex integrations using Workday Studio, as well as EIB, Core Connectors, and RaaS.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end integration solutions from design through to implementation.
• Experience in designing and utilizing APIs (REST/SOAP) and executing data transformations using XML/XSLT.
• Working knowledge of Workday reporting and BIRT.
• Thorough understanding of Workday Core HCM, business processes, and data structures, along with support for annual events such as performance management cycles and open enrollment for benefits.
• Proven capability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
