This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish reporting requirements in collaboration with HR and key stakeholders.
• Create, maintain, test, and enhance a range of Workday reports, from simple to complex, including both matrix and composite reports.
• Utilize Workday Report Writer, Report Designer, and calculated fields effectively.
• Provide workforce metrics, trends, and analytical insights via reports and dashboards.
• Oversee and enhance Workday People Analytics, ensuring data validation, security access, issue resolution, release testing, and upgrades.
• Facilitate user adoption while converting workforce trends into actionable business insights.
• Verify the accuracy and business alignment of custom reports.
• Resolve issues related to reports and dashboards, including access, design, configuration, and release challenges.
• Document the functionality and design of reports comprehensively.
• Assess Workday releases and enact necessary reporting modifications.
• Configure, maintain, test, and provide guidance on Workday security, including domain security policies, roles, and role assignments.
• Review data access to ensure compliance with security policies and privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders regarding the security implications of new technologies and functionalities.
• Track Workday’s security roadmap and apply relevant features.
• Conduct audits of system roles and access logs.
• Supply security-control documentation and evidence for internal and external audits.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with HR/Finance information systems and report development tools, such as Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or Workday Report Writer; experience may overlap.
• 5 years of experience in HR/Finance application security.
• HR functional experience is essential.
• Familiarity with data models, organizational structures, and roles.
• Strong understanding of Workday security features and controls.
• Knowledge of SOX requirements and applicable data privacy laws, including GDPR.
• Proficient in Workday HCM reporting, particularly with advanced Workday Report Writer and calculated fields, is highly preferred.
• Workday reporting certification is preferred.
• Capability to gather, assess, and interpret business needs into reporting, security, and operational requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy; adept at handling sensitive data appropriately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Understanding of business and management principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Pivot Tables.
• Comfortable enforcing compliance with security policies and practices.
