This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as the main configurator and subject matter expert for Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation.
• Design, configure, test, and uphold compensation packages, grades, grade profiles, ranges, plans, and eligibility criteria.
• Oversee the compensation review processes, statements, scorecards, worksheets, compensation basis, and calculated fields.
• Collaborate with the Job Architecture analyst to align grades, ranges, and eligibility with job profiles and job levels.
• Set up compensation business processes, approval routing, and condition rules.
• Assist with market and structure updates, annual range adjustments, and geographic differentials.
• Manage the technical delivery of annual compensation cycles from build and eligibility validation to launch, activation, and reporting.
• Create and implement cycle test plans that cover eligibility, proration, targets, guidelines, and statement accuracy.
• Coordinate cycle calendars with Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Payroll.
• Provide support for off-cycle promotions, market adjustments, one-time payments, bonus distributions, and equity refreshes.
• Conduct cycle retrospectives and promote improvements.
• Develop advanced custom reports, calculated fields, matrix reports, and dashboards.
• Keep audit reports for out-of-range salaries, missing plan assignments, and ineligible participants.
• Prepare and implement EIB and mass-change compensation loads, ensuring validation and reconciliation controls.
• Evaluate and perform regression testing on Workday releases to assess compensation impacts.
• Validate compensation-related integrations with payroll and downstream systems.
• Provide tier-two and tier-three support to Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Payroll.
• Maintain configuration documentation and cycle runbooks.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Six or more years of HRIS experience, including at least four years of direct Workday configuration experience.
• Proven ownership of Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation configurations, including packages, grades, ranges, plans, and eligibility rules.
• Experience in configuring and managing at least two complete annual compensation cycles (merit and bonus) in Workday through activation.
• Strong skills in Workday advanced reporting, calculated fields, and EIB.
• Comprehensive understanding of compensation concepts, including salary structures, market pricing, proration, targets and guidelines, incentive mechanics, and equity administration.
• Analytical skills to reconcile large data sets and independently verify results.
