This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Execute authorized forensic acquisition, preservation, and targeted or comprehensive forensic collection from approved data sources.
• Perform forensic review and analysis to uncover evidence, user activities, timelines, system artifacts, and supporting information.
• Assist in investigations related to insider threats, employee misconduct, data exfiltration, unauthorized access, intellectual property issues, and cybersecurity incidents.
• Provide expert forensic assistance for malware, registry, memory, persistence, endpoint, and incident response inquiries.
• Oversee security events and conduct security investigations and computer forensic analyses.
• Aid in detecting security vulnerabilities and breaches while developing effective countermeasures.
• Facilitate eDiscovery processes, which include the identification, preservation, collection, processing, and preparation of electronically stored information.
• Maintain comprehensive case documentation, evidence tracking, chain-of-custody records, investigation notes, status updates, technical reports, executive summaries, and findings presentations.
• Investigate tools, techniques, and industry trends in emerging security technologies or architectures.
• May create security policies, awareness communications, and training programs.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Post-graduate education, certifications, and/or licenses may be necessary.
• Generally, a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience is required for entry into this position.
• Proficiency in authorized forensic acquisition, preservation, and collection techniques.
• Familiarity with endpoints, servers, email systems, cloud platforms, collaboration tools, logs, and corporate systems.
• Experience in forensic review and analysis of gathered data.
• Understanding of insider threats, employee misconduct, data exfiltration, unauthorized access, intellectual property issues, cybersecurity incidents, and associated investigations.
• Advanced skills in forensic support for malware, registry, memory, persistence, endpoint, and incident response investigations.
• Competence in security event monitoring and computer forensic analysis.
• Knowledge of eDiscovery processes and electronically stored information.
• Ability to maintain case documentation, evidence tracking, chain-of-custody records, investigation notes, technical reports, executive summaries, and findings presentations.
• Conduct research on current tools, techniques, and industry-standard trends in emerging security technologies or architectures.
